7-Green Services, LLC is a Delaware-registered company currently developing a midstream natural gas system that incorporates the capture, transport, and sequestration of CO2.
7-Green Services (“7-Green” or “7G”) is pleased to offer an East Texas / Gulf Coast carbon capture and sequestration platform.
Strategically located and adjacent to ~50+ MMTPA of CO2, 7-Green’s assets are ideally positioned to core Houston Ship Channel/Gulf Coast emitters with proximity to downstream transportation and sequestration projects, and 7-Green’s own sequestration project.
While a few Gulf Coast projects have been announced to date, there is significant demand for a header system to connect one or more downstream transport and sequestration solutions for emitters, which would provide them with (1) competition for downstream pricing and (2) sequestration redundancy in the absence of existing scaled storage solutions.
The Midwest region is relatively saturated with “low-hanging fruit” projects, leaving the Gulf Coast with the highest concentration of emitters in the United States adjacent to immediate EOR and sequestration disposal options.
Given advancements in 45Q program in the Inflation Reduction Act, there is now ample economic value to support the entire CCUS value chain for significantly more CO2 emission sources beyond ethanol, ammonia, and hydrogen.
7-Green’s Houston Ship Channel Midstream Header System has a total capital investment opportunity of $200-300+ million and could generate 11-14% unlevered IRR’s based on 7-Green’s estimate of economic value attributable to the various value chain providers.
In addition to the HSC Header System, 7-Green’s other assets have option value ascribable to (1) potential CCUS projects in ETX; and (2) third-party midstream / upstream amine plant CO2.
